Weekend plans

I'm not sure what is going to happen this weekend at this point. Camping is out. It looks like going to the lake at all is out because we are supposed to have thunderstorms again. I swear to god mid-Michigan has more thunderstorms than anywhere else I have ever lived. Don't be too impressed with that. I have only lived in NE Ohio and Detroit.

We were thinking of heading to Akron to see my brother but we have no flu to give him so it doesn't seem worth it. HA! My family reunion is this Sunday and we wanted to go to it but decided not to. Ok... I wanted to go to it. Marty hates it. The boys could take it or leave it. It is a tiny, tiny, tiny church bang smack in Amish country. Like Amish Country. There is a cow field on one side and a cemetery on the other. When I was a kid we would go and play with the Amish kids from up the road (dirt road, of course.) Once my "branch" of the family stopped going attendance dropped to less than 10. They are all 60 and over so I'm not sure how much longer there will be a family reunion to go to.

I think I might end up painting my homeschool cabinet thingy, get something for Josh, stuff for the party Wednesday, and buy some Garbage and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes off of iTunes. Camping in the rain is starting to look like a relaxing option!
